Member, American Political Science Association; Academy of Political and Social Sciences; American Association for Advancement of Science; Urban Regional Information Systems Association. Director, Regional Economic Development, Energy Corporation of Louisiana. Member, Southern Growth Policy Board, representing Alabama. Member, Optimist International. Married.
