Born in Baltimore, Maryland, December 23, 1943. Attended Glen Burnie Senior High School; Anne Arundel Community College; University of Maryland, 1961-62. Delegate, Republican Party National Conventions, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996. Man of the Year, Young Republicans of Anne Arundel County, 1977. Legislator of the Year, American Family Association, 1989. Presidential Citation, Maryland Recreation and Parks Association, 1989. Married; three children.
