Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1976. Law clerk to Chief Judge Daniel T. Prettyman, Worcester County Circuit Court, 1976-78. Sole practitioner, 1978-85. Member, American Bar Association; Maryland State Bar Association; Worcester County Bar Association (treasurer, 1990-91; secretary, 1991-92; vice-president, 1992-93; president, 1993-94); Maryland State's Attorneys' Association. Member, First Presbyterian Church of Ocean City (former president, board of trustees; elder, 1980-).
