Clemons, Michigan; University of Michigan, B.A. (English), 1958; University of Pittsburgh, 1962; University of Pennsylvania, 1969; University of Maryland School of Law, J.D., 1975; National College of Juvenile Justice, University of Nevada, 1979; National Judicial College, 1982. Former English teacher. Research assistant for Chief Judge Robert F. Sweeney, District Court of Maryland, 1974. Law clerk to Benjamin L. Brown, City Solicitor of Baltimore City, 1976-77. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1977. Member, Maryland State, Baltimore City and Monumental City Bar Associations. Former English teacher and vice-principal. Rita C. Davidson Award, Women's Bar Association of Maryland, 1999. Maryland Women's Hall of Fame, 2002. Died in Owings Mills, Maryland, December 9, 2006.
