Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1966. Private practice, 1966-82. Member, Maryland State and Baltimore City Bar Associations. Past member, Citizens' Commission on Maryland Government. Advisory Board, Baltimore Neighborhoods, Inc.; Baltimore Choral Arts Society. Past vice-president, Loyola College Alumni Assoc. Adjunct faculty, Morgan State University, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Loyola College of Maryland, University of Baltimore. Secretary and board member, The Baltimore Courthouse and Law Museum Foundation, Inc. President, Baltimore City Historical Society, 2001-.
