University of Baltimore, 1959-64; University of Baltimore School of Law, J.D., cum laude, 1967. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1967. Member, Maryland State and Carroll County Bar Associations. Past Director of Employee Relations-American Operations, Black and Decker Manufacturing Company.
