Member, American and District of Columbia Bar Associations; Maryland State Bar Association (chair, litigation section, 1990-91; chair, alternative resolution of disputes committee, 1988; chair, subcommittee on mediation & evaluation); Anne Arundel County Bar Association. Board member, Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), 1987. Co-Chair, Civil Settlement Week, 1989. Sports correspondent, Washington Star, 1954-70.
