The Study Panel on Funding Needs of Trauma Centers began meeting in June 2002 (Chapter 33, Acts of 2001). The Panel studied the potential funding needs of that network of trauma centers not supported by the Emergency Medical System Operations Fund, but participating in the State's Emergency Medical Services System.

The Panel last met in January 2003.
