The Community College Students with Disabilities Task Force was created in July 2005 (Chapter 423, Acts of 2005). The Task Force was to identify programmatic and physical barriors for students with disabilities attending community colleges in Maryland. For such students, it identified gaps in resources for technology, equipment, and services; and developed strategies to improve education and employment.

The Task Force submitted its report to the Governor and General Assembly in December 2005. Authorization for the Task Force ended June 30, 2006.
