ECONOMIC MATTERS COMMITTEE

DEFUNCT SUBCOMMITTEES

ELECTRIC UNIVERSAL SERVICE PROGRAM WORK GROUP
The Electric Universal Service Program Work Group was formed in 2003. It met with a work group of the Senate Finance Committee to study whether to recommend termination or extension of the Program. The Work Group last met in February 2003.

HEALTH INSURANCE SUBCOMMITTEE
Discontinued in January 2003. Functions transferred to Health and Government Operations Committee.

REAL ESTATE & HOUSING SUBCOMMITTEE
Abolished in January 2003. Functions transferred to Environmental Matters Committee.

REAL PROPERTY SUBCOMMITTEE
Renamed Real Estate and Housing Subcommittee in 1999.

SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY SUBCOMMITTEE
Functions reassigned to Banking, Economic Development, Science and Technology Subcommittee in January 2003.
