Former member, Interim Steering Board, Model Cities, appointed 1968. Member, Improved Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the World (I.B.P.O.E.W.), #1043; American Legion Post 294; National Association of Concerned Veterans; National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Baltimore Chapter, Regional Action Committtee (RAC). Member, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW); Vietnam Veterans of America. Regional Coordinator, National Association for Black Veterans. Former president, Association of Black Social Workers, Baltimore. Member, Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc; King David Lodge 18, Prince Hall Masons. Member, St. Paul's Baptist Church. Married; four children.
